You can only imagine the reaction of the horses (who can be quite skittish) on the first day of the shoot when we arrived with strobes flashing, wind machines blowing and numerous crew members wandering about. We were very respectful that we were indeed only guests at their home and by day two their demeanor was much calmer and major bonding occurred (as long as we in no way infringed on their feeding times).
